Today, walk our brick streets, step into the last working 1910 factory (J.C. Newman’s El Reloj), and light up a cigar rolled right here – this is where the legend lives!

Cuban Roots

Habano (or Habanos) refers to the premium, Cuban-seed tobacco grown specifically for the world’s finest cigars, most famously in Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo region, but also now in Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Honduras. The magic starts with the leaf: the dark, oily wrapper (often Habano or Habano 2000) delivers that signature spicy-sweet kick; the binder holds it all tight; and the filler blend (typically seco, viso, and ligero leaves from the same plant) creates explosive flavor and perfect combustion. Grown under strict conditions in rich red soil and shaded by gauze or sun-drenched, Habano tobacco is fermented and aged longer than almost any other, giving it the bold, complex, peppery-yet-smooth profile that cigar lovers chase their whole lives. One puff of a true Habano cigar and you instantly taste why it’s called the king of tobacco! 🔥

Signature Blend

Connecticut Shade is the undisputed king of smooth, elegant cigar wrappers, grown under massive cheesecloth tents in the Connecticut River Valley (USA) or Ecuador to shield the plants from direct sun, producing an ultra-thin, silky, golden-blonde leaf loaded with oils and almost no veins. Because it’s grown in the shade, the leaf stays delicate and develops a refined, creamy-sweet flavor profile (think fresh cream, cedar, toasted nuts, subtle hay, and a whisper of sweetness) with virtually zero harshness or pepper. Fermented gently and aged to perfection, it burns cool and even, delivering clouds of luxurious smoke and making it the go-to wrapper for mild-to-medium cigars that feel like velvet on the palate.
