At Don Mario Cigars, every hand-rolled cigar tells a story of Cuban roots and Tampa’s vibrant spirit. Cuba invented the legend – we perfected it! In 1886, Cuban cigar giants like Vicente Martinez-Ybor fled Havana and planted their flags right here in Tampa. They brought master rollers, Cuban seed, and centuries of tradition… then turned Ybor City into a cigar-making powerhouse!

By the 1920s we were cranking out OVER 700 MILLION premium hand-rolled cigars a year – more than Havana itself! Lectors reading to the workers, mutual aid clubs buzzing, and the sweet smell of tobacco everywhere… Ybor became the beating heart of the cigar world!

Even today, we’re still rolling legends the Cuban way – right here in Tampa, Florida! Cuba started the fire. Ybor City made it ROAR! 💨🇨🇺➡️🇺🇸
